About Aurora and An Easy Lifestyle
Hi there, and welcome to An Easy Lifestyle. My given name is Noeline Stuart, but I work better as Aurora. Aurora is my creative side, and she is friendly and outgoing, whereas Noeline, on the other hand would rather be going for walks in nature and making art, therefore nothing would get done! So we’ve come to an agreement, Aurora works in the morning on the important things like this magazine-style website , articles, emails, newsletters, social and the like, as we both want to get the message out there about how important it is to claw back your life from your work life! I adopted the name Aurora from the prison sailing ship “Aurora”. You see my Great, Great, Great, Great Grandfather from England was sent to the prison colonies in Australia as a young lad for stealing a book. His sentence was seven years hard labor on a farm in NSW. The Aurora set sail from England on July 3rd 1833 with 300 prisoners and arrived in Sydney, Australia 3rd Nov 1833 and surprisingly, not one person died. I have visited the small town in NSW where he lived and to the cemetery where I planted a rose for him.
I felt a bond with him, as one night in my dreams he came to me as an unkempt, starving street urchin, trying to make his way in London, where in those murky days life was miserable. He had an epiphany – to commit a crime, one that wasn’t bad enough to be hung, but enough that he would be transported to Australia. In the court files I read where there was a policeman in the vicinity of the crime and a little girl who witnessed the crime, so it appeared he did want to get caught.
After his seven years were up, he met and married Martha, a divorced woman with a little girl. They married and had seven children, and the rest as they say is history.
News update: Aurora and her cousin, who is also a writer and an artist, have joined forces to bring this magazine-style website to you. Together, they form an incredible team, driven by the desire to inspire and empower Aurora to assist others in attaining 'An Easy Lifestyle'.
So what inspired Aurora to want to help people find ‘An Easy Lifestyle’?
The answer is simple! Back in the day when I was juggling a number of balls in the air: my high powered career in a mens world, making sure my home was running smoothly and my family were well fed, clean house and clean laundry, as a woman you know the drill. One day after a particularly tough day, I looked out the window – I was screaming inside, and I’m not religious, “God, give me peace of mind!”
So this magazine-style website was born out of that day.
Aurora had strived to make her way up the corporate ladder and we all know, being a woman makes it that much harder, so much so that she became ill. What with having to slow down and then the advent of covid gave her the time and the inclination to delve into the prospect of making a new life for herself and to help others find that balance that makes life worthwhile.
There was no Internet back then, so access to this type of practical means were not readily available.
During her last years as a career driven woman, she put these strategies in place in order for her to have the best of both worlds and to be content and happy through simple, do-able micro-exercises scattered through out her day. You will learn these through her book and this website and eventually when we have our private community of kindred spirits on Facebook.
